It’s Giving Classic Autumn

October 29, 2025

The fall looks just keep coming, and this one is giving classic autumn! My style vibe this season feels very timeless — think 90s Ralph Lauren magazine ad energy — and I’m loving it.

I’ve been focusing on adding pieces to my wardrobe that I know I’ll wear for many autumns to come. The kind of staples that pair effortlessly with old favorites and future finds alike. This outfit is the perfect example of that philosophy in action!

This blazer has easily become one of my favorite sale scores of the year, and these knee-high boots? A total Amazon gem. I love that they’re flat (my relationship with heels is… complicated), and they’re incredibly comfortable. They come in a range of colors, and I’m already eyeing the black and burgundy pairs — because when something’s this good, why stop at one? At this price point, I can basically grab two for the price of one, and I’m all about finding quality pieces that work beautifully and fit any budget.

What do you think — are you leaning into the classic fall aesthetic this year too? Let me know your go-to fall staple in the comments! 🍁

My Go-To Outfit for Travel Days (and Work Days Too)

October 22, 2025

I’ve been to Vegas twice this month for concerts — first to see Sir Paul McCartney and then for When We Were Young — and both times, this was my travel outfit (shirt buttoned, of course — I just wanted to show you the versatility of the Dreamscape Button Down while it was still warm enough to do so 😂).

It’s actually the same outfit I’ve worn to the office multiple times, which tells you everything you need to know. It feels like loungewear but looks totally put together — perfect for travel days, in-office days, and everything in between.

The ALO Suit Up Trousers (in regular length) have truly been a game changer in my wardrobe. I’d even go so far as to say they’re my most-worn item this year. I’m 5’4”, and the length is just right with my Docs or sneakers.

I also have the Dreamscape Button Down in white because it’s so versatile. I’m wearing a size XXS, and it still has that perfectly relaxed, slightly oversized fit I love.

I hope you’re all having a great week so far! I can’t believe Halloween is next week already !

Fall Finds At Target

October 22, 2025

I went to Target for one thing a couple of weeks ago…and left with several. Classic, right? That’s exactly why I try to avoid Target—but honestly, no buyer’s remorse here!

I spotted this Wild Fable puffer coat on a rolling rack of items waiting to be stocked and instantly knew it was coming home with me. I grabbed the only XS so fast! Between the gorgeous color, the adorable bow ties on the sleeves, and the fact that it’s waterproof—sold.

On the same trip, I also picked up this vanity crossbody bag, and I’ve been using it nonstop ever since. I love that the chain strap is detachable, and at just $20, it’s such a budget-friendly find for fall. The quality is seriously impressive for the price.

I hope you’re all loving these fall outfit posts as much as I am—I’ve had so much fun sharing them!

The Under $50 Blazer I Can’t Stop Wearing

October 10, 2025

I’m honestly so confused why this blazer only has a three-star average review—because I am obsessed! It’s quickly become one of my favorite new additions to my fall wardrobe. And the best part? It’s under $50.

The little details make it feel way more elevated than the price tag suggests. The faux leather accents on the pocket flaps and lapel notches are such a chic touch, and the overall vibe of the blazer just screams fall (and you know I’m here for all things fall fashion).

I paired it with a short sleeve cardigan (mine’s from T.J.Maxx, but I found a super similar one at H&M!), a denim mini skirt and gave my socks a well-deserved spotlight. My mom got the socks for me, and I threw them on to wear with boots the other day—but they were too cute to keep hidden. They also match my fall color palette perfectly, so they got their moment. 🍂

P.S. This vanity crossbody bag totally has designer vibes and it’s only $20 at Target! I feel like I should have bought a back up 😂

Fall’s Best Tracksuit at ALO

September 30, 2025

The recent burgundy drop at ALO is so good right now! This tracksuit is selling out quickly online, so run—don’t walk. You know I love a good set, and this one checks every box: buttery soft, super comfy, and the perfect fall color. 🍂

What I really love is how versatile it is. The top and bottom work perfectly together but can also be mixed and matched with other ALO pieces in my closet. Trust me, you’ll be seeing these styled a few different ways this season—but worn as a full set? Chef’s kiss. 👌🏻 And the shoes? They’re seriously like walking on air—so light they actually make me miss my distance running days.

Burgundy + Blush: The Fall Combo I’m Loving

September 25, 2025

Happy Fall, friends! 🍂

You already know this is my season. I live for the cozy mornings, the changing leaves, all the fall festivities—and don’t even get me started on fall fashion.

If there’s one color I always gravitate toward this time of year, it’s burgundy. Total staple in my fall wardrobe. I may or may not have already added a few new burgundy pieces to my closet (oops 😅). This year I’ve been loving it paired with blush—it feels soft but still perfectly fall.

The corduroy pants I’m wearing in these photos are from last year, but I tracked down a similar pair for you. And if you’re on the hunt for cute fall finds on a budget, TJ Maxx is seriously the place. I just picked up this sweater vest there and it’s already in heavy rotation.

What fall color combo are you loving this year!? 🍂

Sondra in Portland: (Almost) Summer Style Inspired by Emily in Paris (Season 1)

June 13, 2025

Let’s be honest — Emily Cooper may have been confused when it came to French grammar, but the she knew how to dress for summer. Bold prints, statement bags, and no fear of a great hat. And while I’m not exactly navigating Parisian marketing clients or sipping espresso on the Seine (sadly), l love  channeling a little “Emily in Paris” energy right here in the PNW. Learning French included!

To be more accurate: Sondra in Portland.

I moved here from Chicago a while ago— a place where the street style is pretty polished and there’s an obvious appreciation for layers  (mostly because winter lasts forever). But Portland? Let’s just say… it’s not exactly a fashion capital. Strategic print mixing and runway inspired looks at the farmers market? Not really the local dress code. (Also — fun fact — I’ve never been camping ever. So maybe that’s my most un-Portland trait yet.)

That said, for me PNW summers are all about fun fashion moments and there’s nothing like taking warm weather style tips from your favorite onscreen fashionistas. As much as I love dressing for Paris, I’m dressing for the version of me who isn’t afraid to stand out — even if I’m the only one in polka dots on NW 23rd.

Candy Red At ALO

May 15, 2025

I posted about this set on Instagram Monday but it needed a moment on the blog, don’t you agree? The candy red collection was released at ALO last week and sizes are already selling out. Not surprising at all — this color is bold, bright, and seriously flattering.

As someone who works out Monday through Friday (because those are the days I need to burn off stress the most 😂) , I’m all about versatile pieces that move with me — from my home office to quick transitions into my at-home spin sessions. These pieces check all the boxes: performance, comfort, and STYLE. I feel like ALO is at the forefront of the athleisure – fashion game and I’m obsessed.

Happy almost Friday, friends! I’m SO ready for the weekend!

Spring Feels, Summer Energy

May 2, 2025

Happy Friday, Friends! You’re getting a Friday blog post because—let’s be honest—my posting schedule has been a little off lately. Somehow this year is already flying by… and I’m not even wishing the time away!

One thing I am looking forward to? Seeing my absolute favorites in concert this summer (My Chemical Romance AND Lady Gaga)! I seriously cannot wait. My outfits are READY TO GO, and I’ve already mentally packed my bag (anyone else do that weeks, or months 😜 in advance?). It’s going to be such a fun season, and I’m here for it.

Yesterday, we hit 85 degrees in Portland and that was all it took—my brain officially switched to summer mode. I’m craving sunshine, patio hangs, iced coffee, Aperol Spritzs … you get the vibe. Last month, I spent a week in North Carolina and it totally felt like a sneak peek of summer. That trip just sealed the deal for me—I’m ready for all the warm weather looks and easy breezy style moments.

Speaking of which, this outfit felt so perfect for that in-between season vibe. Light layers, a pop of color, and just enough attitude to welcome the sun back. It definitely deserved its own little moment here!

Thanks for catching up with me, and stay tuned—there’s more PNW sunshine-filled content on the way!
