I saw these shoes online at DSW the other day and knew instantly I had to have them. Luckily, a store near me had them in stock so I could try them on for size. They’re actually super comfy and they’ll make a great transitional shoe from winter- to- spring.

It’s that time of year when the stores are filled with everything pink, red and heart shaped. Sure, Valentine’s Day is about romance but on February 13th (Galentine’s Day) we get to celebrate our lady friends and what’s more fun than that?! Today I’m sharing some great gift ideas (for the special gals in your life) and all of my picks are well under $50.
First off, I’m loving this T-shirt, so much in fact, that I’ll probably end up buying it for myself. For the coffee loving gal in your life, this mug would make a great gift. You could always fill it with candy and maybe a gift card to her favorite coffee shop to support her habit. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the over the knee socks I recently purchased, so I’ve link some similar ones.
Some of you may disagree with me, but I think candles make great gifts. I’ve linked a couple here and here that I love. Lastly, these strawberries and cream white chocolate truffles are amazing! Buy some for a bestie but be sure to buy some for yourself as well (trust me). Hopefully I was able to make your Galentine’s Day shopping a bit easier this year. My gals now know what they’re getting but yours will be pleasantly surprised!!

I don’t know about you, but I love designer fashion. What I don’t love, is the price tag that often comes with it. I’ll be honest, I will treat myself to Michael Kors, Tory Burch and Gucci accessories once in a blue moon but certainly not all the time. What I can buy more often are designer looks for less! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite designer inspired pieces that are well under $100.
I’ve seriously been looking all over for a bag that resembles the Mansur Gavriel hat box satchel (priced at $1095) and I finally found IT! I am beyond pleased with this bag and will definitely be ordering another.
I love these Miu Miu embellished kitten heels (priced at $890) , but these are SO adorable and they’re just $25 (they do run big so I recommend sizing down)! While you’re at it, be sure to pick up these designer inspired loafers (also on Asos) and you’ll qualify for free shipping. That’s what did!
I’m honestly always looking for classic designer inspired pieces to add to my wardrobe. I recently purchased this Zara blazer after falling in love with a similar one with a retail price of $1590.00. My blazer collection keeps growing simply because they’ll never go out of style and they’re my go to for creating a polished look.
Lastly I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces, resembling, one of my favorite fashion houses, Chanel. Whenever I think of Chanel, I think of tweed, add a cute flower pin to a tweed dress and you’ve got an outfit Coco would approve of. Chicwish has some super cute tops that have me dreaming of Paris more than I usually do…J’aime this one, this one and this one (just to share a few)! I’m also loving these dresses ( love and must have) for a Parisian inspired look.

It’s hard to believe the first week of the new year has already come to an end. I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, but I do like set realistic goals to work towards throughout the year. It’s taken me a while to realize I’m always happiest when I’m working towards something. I may not know what that something is all the time but I try to appreciate the journey. Those close to me know I’m an advocate of list making, so today I’m sharing a few of my personal and professional goals for 2017:
• Stick to learning French. A couple years ago my fiancé gave me the gift of Rosetta Stone for Christmas. It does make learning a language easy, but like anything it takes time and practice.
• Read more non fiction. I love to read but I usually end up reading smut. This year I’d like to read more non fiction on topics that interest me. Currently I’m reading “Seven Ages of Paris ” by Alistair Horne.
•Connect with other bloggers in my area. I think it’s really important to surround yourself with people who are supportive and equally as passionate about their work. I love learning from others and lending a helping hand when I have the opportunity.
• Explore. If you’ve been somewhere before or you’re going for the first time there’s always something new to experience. For example, I just returned from Los Angeles. I’ve been there a few times, but there were quite a few firsts on this trip ( The LACMA, The La Brea Tar Pits and shopping at The Grove).
• Work on All Glam No Filter. I like to call All Glam No Filter my second job. This year I’d like to post one new blog post a week and 1-2 Instagram photos a day. If there’s anything you’d like to see or you have constructive criticism just let me know.

It’s hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone. The weekend went by entirely too fast and I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to my Christmas tree. With that said, I’m starting to think the only good thing about this time of year are all of the after holiday sales. There are so many amazing deals that are really hard to resist. I’ve been stalking these boots for a while now and finally decided I had to have them….a $39.94 sale price is hard to pass up plus they’re super cute.
Once the temperatures drop I find myself living in cozy sweaters and turtlenecks. Winter is an easy season to conquer if you have go to favorites in your closet. So today I realized , the one thing I disliked the most about living in Chicago is actually the one thing I miss the most….Snow. Not only is it beautiful, there’s something peaceful about it. Plus, I was able to wear my favorite snow boots today! Not only are they incredibly warm, they’re cute and cozy. I’m a huge fan of Sorel, they make fashionable shoes that conquer the elements.
After spending some time in the snow with my four legged child, some hot cocoa was exactly what i needed. I hope you’re all having a fabulous holiday season!
Every year I decide I’m going to start my holiday shopping early and every year I don’t….If you’re like me and wait until the last minute, finding the perfect gift can be difficult. As much as I love the holiday “hustle and bustle ” it can be stressful. With that said, I tend to avoid the amateur shoppers at the malls and opt for holiday online shopping. Don’t get me wrong, I online shop year round but I tend to do it more during the holiday season. The truth is, the online deals are often better than the in store deals and a lot of retailers won’t even match the online price or promotion ( I’m talking you to Old Navy and H&M). I told myself I was going to stop buying buffalo plaid but then I realized…I’m not a quitter. This entire outfit is from Old Navy, I’m seriously loving their fall and winter selection this year. Black and white will forever be one of my favorite color combinations so I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this top. If you don’t like buffalo plaid, my skirt is also available in tartan (which is equally as cute). These flats are selling out quickly online but you may still be able to find them in your local store. I found similar ones here.
I’m the type of person that starts preparing for a trip days and sometimes weeks in advance. Outfit planning tends to take me a bit longer because I like to coordinate my outfits with my surroundings. When it comes to products I never travel without, that’s easy. Just because you’re not at home doesn’t mean you should sacrifice your hair and beauty routine. It’s taken me a long time to find the perfect skin regimen. I use the products below daily. My boyfriend hates the way the drying mask smells but I swear by it. I love Mario Badescu’s product line, Ulta carries the essentials. Also, this dry shampoo paired with travel sizes of my favorite salon brand shampoo & conditioner extends time between washes.
I truly believe skin care and makeup go hand in hand. I have naturally oily skin so finding a foundation that won’t cause breakouts has been years of trial and error. It Cosmetics has ended my trips to the dermatologist. Needless to say, you’ll always find this CC cream in my makeup bag. Color correction, full coverage and anti aging serum in one product? Yes please! Another beauty line I also love is Laura Geller, I bought this kit and I totally recommend it if your new to the brand.
